Our story
Why we built Nexadata
For decades, the same problem kept showing up. The people who understand the business, the analysts and planners in the office of the CFO, need data from a dozen systems to do their jobs. Getting it there meant filing a ticket with IT, paying for expensive consulting, or stitching it together by hand in spreadsheets. The work was slow, brittle, and never quite theirs to own.
We had lived every side of it. We had been the business users trying to move data between systems, sold the integration software meant to help, and built the companies behind it. Across two prior startups, both acquired, one lesson held: one-off coded scripts look like they save time and money, but they cost far more in the long run. Better tools can be built.
So in 2024 we started Nexadata to close that gap. Not another tool for IT, but an agentic AI platform that puts trusted, auditable data back in the hands of the people who actually use it. Describe what you need in plain language, and get validated output. That is the whole idea.

Quin Eddy
CEO, Co-Founder
Quin has spent more than 30 years in data integration. He has been the business user fighting to get data out of one system and into another, sold the software meant to solve it, and built the companies behind it. A two-time founder, he led Star Analytics to an acquisition by IBM and co-founded OneCloud, acquired by Workiva. He started Nexadata to give the office of the CFO a better way to work with data, without depending on engineering or writing throwaway code. Based in New York.
Ryan Curtin
CTO, Co-Founder
Ryan leads engineering and the Nexadata platform. He was co-founder and CTO of OneCloud, acquired by Workiva, where he then served as Director of Engineering. He has spent his career building integration platforms that hold up under real enterprise scale, auditability, and reliability. At Nexadata he is turning the agentic AI architecture into a production-grade product business users can trust.
